Keeping my children on a routine is so incredibly important.

I’m currently working from home and homeschooling my children, so I need visual reminders. This way I do not constantly have to ask them to complete their daily chores/tasks.

Per request, I have now added routine charts! You can cut the cards apart and glue them in the order that works for your daily schedule. Children love to see their day “mapped out” so they know what to expect.

If there isn’t a card for what you need, just write in your activity! Both color and black and white printables are included in this free download.

Keeping my kiddos on a routine makes all the difference in our house, and I hope this is a blessing for your family.

FAVORITE QUIET TIME ACTIVITIES

I used to call these activities busy bags when my oldest was a toddler.

I would get them, out one at a time, when I needed a few minutes to get something done. She loved them because most of the time they were put up out of sight.

Then I started using them in my classroom as centers. I’ll show you my favorite activities for quiet time and you can print free labels and pattern cards!

March is All About Spring and April is All About the Earth

I offer free resources on both blog posts, and many of the books are linked to read aloud on youtube.

FREE ONLINE RESOURCES

There are so many online resources out there, and it is hard to sort the good from the garbage.

Here are a few that we use in our home, and a few that I have seen circling that look helpful.

This is seriously so much fun! Lunch Doddles with Mo Williems

For the next few weeks, he is showing a video teaching kids how to draw and doodle… every weekday at 1pm EST.

My six year old is my artist. She is constantly drawing, and this is absolutely perfect for her!

free books for kids

My kids absolutely love audio books. We listen to them in the car everywhere we go. My girls absolutely love the Ramona Quinby series and Henry Huggins… and to be honest, so do I!

While school is out, Amazon is offering this incredible deal of FREE audio books for kids.

Usually, I let my girls pick out 1-2 new books a month since they aren’t cheap, so they are thrilled.

We are huge fans of Get Epic - I have had this app downloaded on my kid’s iPads for two years. I love it because I can make “libraries” for my three older kiddos who are now ages 4, 6 and 8.

They each have different interests and reading abilities, so I can tailor the books that are available for them to read.

I especially love the different options as these are not just audiobooks. My 4 and 6 year old still need the pictures, so there is a read-to-me option where it shows the book and actually reads them the story as it turns the pages. My 8 year old prefers the audiobooks.

Get Epic is offering FREE remote access while school is out! You can create libraries for your students in google classroom.
