We have had so much fun developing our fine motor skills with these crafts and activities this year!

Have you noticed children are coming to school lacking fine motor skills?

I sure have!

I have also been struggling to find a way to incorporate critical skills such as pincer grasp, cutting, gluing, holding a pencil, counting, 1:1 correspondence, handwriting, etc.

I created these activity booklets and year-long centers to develop their fine motor skills while teaching our math and literacy standards.

Win, win: low prep for me + engaging for my kiddos!

First, I’ll walk you through how I setup these activities and booklets.

Then, I am sharing a huge pack of fine motor FREEBIES right here on this blog post for you to try!

Fine Motor Supplies:

  • Scissors

“Thank you so much for this amazing resource! This resource has a variety of low prep activities that are engaging!”

I made a fine motor year-long bundle, or each season can be purchased separately.

To organize and prep these centers and crafts, I use plastic trays or bins.

I use THESE trays absolutely love the quality and colors.

Add them to your Amazon class wishlist!

I also make fine motor booklets for my kiddos to work on for each season (included in each seasonal bundle).

I have tried two options:

  • binding the booklets using my Pro-Click (be sure to use sticky tabs to mark where they left off)

  • plastic color 3-pronged folders ($0.50 ea) to match the table groups

Following directions, letter names and sounds, 1:1 correspondence, handwriting, drawing, patterns, cutting, stickers and so much more are included for each seasonal fine motor booklet.
