FOUR SEASONS Book Companion

Usborne book activities four seasons kids printables activity worksheet

We love learning about the four seasons!

This adorable book really brings each season to life for little learners. Each page has beautiful illustrations, catchy sentences that are perfect for learning about descriptive words and adjectives, and even plays Vivaldi music to match the season.

I made these adorable printable activities to match each page perfectly.

For each season, I wrote the sentence starts to match the book.

Children can go through and finish each sentence by writing the missing words.

My daughters love to play the music on each page while they write and color their own illustration.

I also use this book to teach about adjectives. I have my children circle the adjectives in each sentence.

Each page focuses on one season. The author uses descriptive language, beautiful illustrations and specific songs to make each season come alive.

Toddlers are enthralled with this book, and for older children this is the perfect book to teach adjectives, writing with imagery, science and so much more.

Here at Keeping My Kiddo busy, we absolutely love thematic teaching and learning about the seasons.

Children are naturally interested in learning about the changing weather, so we take this opportunity to use themes to teach reading, language arts, writing, science, social studies, writing and more!
